Bio
Dr. Sarang Aravamuthan is a Principal Scientist at Global AI Accelerator (GAIA), Ericsson and is currently involved in data science projects in the general area of telecommunication systems. His work involves analyzing large volumes of data and regular interactions with the stakeholders. Of late, his research has been in the area of NLP, class imbalance problems and information security. In the past Sarang has worked in Discrete Math., Crypto and Game theory. Prior work experience includes stints in Microsoft, Google, TCS and FogLogic. Sarang received his Ph.D. in Applied Math in 1995 from Cornell University.
