Justin Armstrong is a subject matter expert in the industrial application of machine learning technology. With over 12 years of professional software experience, Armstrong is currently Compology’s Senior Backend Engineer specializing in applied machine learning, algorithm design and data quality engineering.
Armstrong holds a BSe from Tulane University in Mechanical Engineering, graduating with departmental honors. His entry into software began with robotics research for bipedal walking. Formerly, Armstrong developed software at Jawbone and Yelp.
Compology is a San Francisco-based company focused on building technology for waste and trucking. Compology’s web-based software is powered by in-container cameras that monitor fullness, identify contamination and contents, track GPS location and verify service.
