Bio
Alexander H. Miller is a Research Engineering Manager at Meta AI. He’s worked primarily on conversational AI (Key-value Memory Networks, ParlAI dialogue framework) and natural language processing (LAMA), but recently got hooked by the mercurial promises of reinforcement learning (NetHack Learning Environment). He started as a Research Engineer in New York, spent two years in London helping to grow Meta AI’s presence in Europe, and is back in New York supporting an ambitious project to get AI to play complex multiplayer board games such as Hanabi and Diplomacy. He’s enrolled in NYU’s Master of Science program in Computer Science and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Cornell.
