Bio
Dr. Vito Ostuni is a Staff Scientist on the Listeners Science team at Pandora where he leads the science behind voice and search. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Information Engineering from Polytechnic University of Bari, Italy.
His main interests are recommender systems, search and machine learning. He is author of 15 peer reviewed papers and the recipient of a best paper award at the I-Semantics 2012 conference. He has been co-organizer of the fifth edition of the Large Scale Recommender Systems workshop at the ACM RecSys 2017 conference and the Linked Open Data-enabled Recommender Systems Challenge series held in conjunction with the ESWC conference. He is a regular member of the Program Commitee for the ACM RecSys and SIGIR conferences.
