Bio
Dr. Janani Kalyanam obtained her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University, Masters from University of Wisconsin, Madison and PhD from University of California, San Diego – all in Electrical and Computer Engineering. In her doctoral thesis, she studied machine learning as it applies to social media data, specifically proposing robust models to address scale and noise, issues that are inherent to social media data. She currently works at Intuit Inc as a Senior Data Scientist where she builds AI and Machine Learning based solutions to produce better user experiences in Intuit products.
